The Giant Sequoias are unsurprisingly, really, really big. The one picture has Nat climbing through a hollowed trunk. The stump is known as Chicago stump. The tree was cut down for the Chicago World's Fair. At the time descriptions of the size of the trees were regarded as a hoax in most of the country.
