Spent the morning yesterday at Mount Rushmore. The idea of putting gigantic faces on a mountain is pretty insane. As you can see from the pictures, the approach we took from the south gives you awesome looks before you arrive. There are a series of single lane tunnels that frame the mountain as you pass through. The mountain itself has a huge visitors center, overrun with bikers on this particular day because Sturgis ended on Friday. Picture a huge crowd of aging baby boomer "outlaw bikers" wearing a lot of leather.
