Waiting...

Yellowstone is funny in that there is a lot of waiting around for stuff to happen. People crowd around Old Faithful waiting for the every 90 minute show. You wait for other geysers. Even more amusing are the wildlife spotters. We came across a huge crowd that had formed because bear had been sighted from that spot 2 days before. Lots of old guys with expensive spotting scopes discussing whether that grey blob back in the trees is a wolf. Lots of expensive lenses on tripods. Blood free hunting, really. I am currently overlooking Old Faithful from the Lodge (another 50 minutes or so til it goes off) waiting for the girls in the gift shop ;-). We are off to a swimming hole as soon as they are done. Tomorrow on to Grand Teton. More pictures when I find some Internet. There are three cell towers in the park and absolutely no public WiFi.
